consider this my
blurb reveal
I spent my childhood in the library stacks and browsing Barnes & Noble—and not much has changed! These days, I’ve just swapped reading logs for content calendars and turned my love of books into a full-blown business.

how fable & fern came to be
i’m a big believer that we should love what we do.
I worked in retail for several years. I started as an associate and worked up to store manager. The problem was, I hated every minute. I longed for something more creative, more aligned with my interests. In 2020, I began freelancing. I took on any and every job I could find, eventually carving out a niche among bookish creatives.
I managed social media for indie authors, designed custom graphics for literary brands, and took on marketing and copywriting jobs for companies like Book of the Month. Helping my fellow book lovers start and scale bookish brands has become my favorite kind of work to do. I’m honored to be on your business journey with you.

what to
expect
I get it. Investing in your business is a big step. I want to share how I approach my work so you can confidently decide if this is the next right step for you.
→ Ethical marketing always. I’ll never use manipulative sales copy or prey on your emotions. Marketing can be effective and respectful. Any marketing materials I make for you will also take this approach.
→ Access at every level. I want bookish creatives at every stage to be able to work with me. That’s why I offer everything from DIY templates to one-on-one support. Plus, my payment plans are always interest-free. Have no budget to hire help right now? No worries. My free content and downloads are fluff-free and can help you get started right now.
→ Dependability matters. I take pride in creating high-quality work and delivering it on time (or ahead of schedule).
→ Your success is personal to me. I genuinely care about your business and will show up with strategy, creativity, and heart to help you succeed.

01. VAN LIFE
I did van life with my boyfriend and dogs for a couple years, and we loved finding unique attractions! This is one of the Galleta Meadows Sculptures in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California.
02. serial entrepreneur
I’ve always had a million business ideas. When I was a child, I went door-to-door selling stickers (yikes, who let me do that). As a teen, I sold homemade bookmarks at my mom’s store. Into adulthood, I’ve continued having ideas and turning them into businesses and offers.
03. did i mention i love breaking bad?
Yes, I threw myself a Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul-themed birthday in my 20s. I love a theme (and take them very seriously).
